When Atlantic Driving School gives the skill evaluation testing it voids the need for any re testing at MVD to get your license both for your permit and driving testing!

We recommend that the student always drive with us before they drive with you. We teach the correct procedures and you enjoy being the passenger with them !!! Our goal is to go from chaos to tranquility with our lessons. If you learn correct procedures you practice correctly, if you learn incorrect procedures you continue to drive that way for ever.
We are a Authorized State Third Party Driver License Training Provider that will preform a final evaluation once the student has met the training requirements. This training will be used to waive driving test at MVD, with a 80% skill. When you pass our evaluation we give you a certificate that you take to MVD. You pay the cost of getting your license. There is NO retesting!
We will be offering a 30 hour on-line Arizona ADOT certified program starting in early 2017. This course will have a classroom portion that you will take your skill evaluation certificate when you pass our written test with 80 % skill. At that point you will get a certificate from us to take to MVD to get your permit. We are working out the final details at this time. Fee to be announced.
You need to have your permit before you can drive with anyone!
a.You go to MVD and take your test. Once you get your permit you can call to schedule driving instruction.
b. You take our 8 hour classroom. This is a condensed 30 hour program of defensive driving. There is lots more to learn than just the MVD manuel. The more prepared you are for the tramas of driving the more confident your skills become. This class also covers questions for the MVD permit testing.The fee is $90.00. We are suspending this class effective 11/4/16.
This course includes; Assessing and Managing Risk, Understanding the Arizona State Manuel, Knowing Yourself, Handling Social Pressures, Learning the Basics, Rules of the Road, Getting to Know your Vehicle, Starting, Steering, Stopping, Basic Driving Skills, Moving onto the road, Driving Environments, Light and Weather Conditions, Sharing the Roadway, Natural Laws and Driving, Responding to an Emergency, Buying a Vehicle, Vehicle Systems and Maintenance, Planning a Trip, Plus videos and working projects.
2017 There will be monthly classes each location for the final skill evaluation. You can go to any location for the ? hour class, see below.

Driving lessons are now being scheduled in advance due to the number of people who want driving training!!
Driving Lessons are scheduled around your and my time available; after school or weekends.Our goal is to go from chaos to tranquility with our lessons. It is best if we do lessons before, you drive with the student. The lessons are normally 2 hours of driving per lesson. These lessons are always done in our licensed Driver Education car with the yellow roof sign. Gary & Glenda are fun to drive with and you learn many skills.
Behind the Wheel Training:
Bullhead City area; $40.00 per hour, 6 hours- $230, 8 hours-$320, 10 hours – $400.
Lake Havasu or Kingman area; $45.00 per hour, 6 hour- $250, 8 hour-$360 or 10 hours-$450.
Payment can be done in advance or on the first day of the driving lessons or you can pay the fee for each lesson. We take cash, check , money order or credit/ debit card.
Atlantic Driving School requires that you document the 30 hours of day and 10 hours of night driving BEFORE you can schedule your skill evaluation with the 10 hour driving program , no matter how old you are. We must do the 10 hour program to do the skill evaluation.
On you last lesson we do a review of your driving skills, you need to pass our skill evaluation with an 80% skill level. After you pass the evaluation, you will get a certificate that you take to MVD. You will pay the licensing MVD costs to get your license. There is no additional testing!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
We need a 36 hour notice of cancellation for a full refund.
