I AM NOTLONGER TAKING ANY MORE TUDENTS FOR DRIVER TRAINING. I have retired as of 10/28/22. There are no Driving Schools in this region. So you will have to teach your permitted driver to drive. Good news you can send your permitted driver to my Traffic Survival School Class for an 8 hour Driver Improvement class. It also decreases the hours you need to be in the car with the student. Good luck and God Bless. RETIREMENT IS HERE NOW!!! :))))
I DO NOT DO ANY TRUCK DRING INSTRUCTION.
I, Glenda Webb HAVE retired from behind the wheel driving instruction in the car 10/28/22.
The permit driver can now take Traffic Survival School classroom program for Defensive Driving and the rules of the road. By taking this classroom course, you can decrease the amount of time in the car before taking the Road Test. Please go to the Traffic Survival School page.
Learning to drive is like learning to swim. If you just jump into the water with little knowledge and skill on how to swim you drown. If you just jump into a car without learning the skills, you can get hurt, hurt someone, crash or kill someone or yourself. The more training you have the more successful you will be.
When you learn to drive from a Professional Driving Trainer we make you understand how to do each maneuver. We break every move down so you understand how to do each thing. When you watch people drive it looks SO simply, but the beginner has a hard time learning what to do and how to control the muscles in your arms and legs to make these actions fluid.
The 15 1/2 to 17 year old can take their permit test on line. https:www.azdmvnow.gov. Your parent has to register with their driver license in the system and oversee your progress. When you pass your permit test on-line take the certificate to DMV to get your official permit.
If you are over 18 you cannot take the permit test online. Go to www.driversprep.com then to the Arizona page. There are 500 test questions and the answers. Study and go to; www.azmvdnow.gov for your permit testing. There are 30 questions on the MVD test. You can skip one question. You can request an oral test. You need an 80% to pass their testing.
Every student is required by MVD to do the practice drive time of 30-hour day & 10-hour night drive time. The more practice driving you do the safer they will be. The students 16 to 18 must be on their permit for 6 months. The parent has to sign a paper at MVD that the student has done all of the practice driving. There is a new program that the parent can send the student to Traffic Survival School for an 8 hour Driver Improvement class/.This will decrease the number of hours you need to be in the car with them. Go to the Traffic Survival School page for more information.
You should answer ALL OF THE “WHY” AND “HOW TO DO” QUESTIONS ON ALL OF THE SKILLS WHILE DRIVING! The more you practice, the safer you are. In today’s world we live in a video/computer environment where everything is instant, and we only have to deal with our own problems. When we drive, we have to interact with every other car and driver. We have to deal with changes and ideas that can be different from ours, at each moment of driving. There is no restart button when things go wrong. We have to adjust to a whole new world of ever-changing situations and problems. It takes 5 years of driving practice to become equal to the average driver, no matter how old you are.
You should explain all of the actions required for all driving skills. When the student now does the skill they understand why its done . So they make smooth moves, with safety as a goal. The student will learn basic controls, stopping, turning, acceleration, lane changes, Center lane use, backing, driving in traffic, parking lot parking, parallel parking, evasive driving etc. If a student learns the correct procedures, when they get into problems, they do correct actions in a safer way!
