 No matter what class you take we recommend that the student always drive with us before they drive with you. We teach the correct procedures and you enjoy being the passenger with them !!!     Our goal is to go from chaos to tranquility with our lessons.

As long as you have your permit you can sign up for the new program now!

We are now teaching the ADOT-MVD Authorized Third Party Driver License Training Provider Curriculum program. 1/12/15 MVD will reopen the Third Party Testing; this testing may be used to waive permit testing or driving test with a 80% skill.  Atlantic Driving School is one of the few schools to qualify for skill evaluation testing.  The new law is 30 hours of classroom and /OR 10 hours of behind the wheel instruction for us to do the skill evaluation .

Class time; 8am to 5pm. all locations.

There are 3 ways to get your permit. You can do any of these combinations for instruction.

a. You go to MVD and take your test. Once you get your permit you can call to schedule driving instruction.

b. You take our 8 hour class that prepares the student to pass the MVD test. We also give the student as much general driving information as possible for the student to make better defensive driving decisions.  The fee is $90.00.

c. The new AZDOT 30 hour classroom program, must be scheduled in advance with 4 students (talk to your friends). Then we will schedule the class dates.This class includes the written permit testing skill evaluation test. The fee for this class is $150.00. 

This course includes; Assessing and Managing Risk, Understanding the Arizona State Manuel, Knowing Yourself, Handling Social Pressures, Learning the Basics, Rules of the Road, Getting to Know your Vehicle, Starting, Steering, Stopping, Basic Driving Skills, Moving onto the road, Driving Environments, Light and Weather Conditions, Sharing the Roadway, Natural Laws and Driving, Responding to an Emergency, Buying a Vehicle, Vehicle Systems and Maintenance, Planning a Trip, Plus videos and working projects.

2016 class dates for each location. You can go to any location for the 8 hour class, see below.

 Driving lessons are now being scheduled  in advance due to the number of people who want driving instruction!!

Driving Lessons are scheduled around your and my time available; after school or weekends.Our goal is to go from chaos to tranquility with our lessons. It is best if we do lessons before, you drive with the student. The first lessons are normally  1 hour each then move to 2 hr. lessons.   Gary & Glenda are fun to drive with and you learn many skills.  

 

Behind the Wheel Instruction: Bullhead City area;  6 hours- $230, 8 hours-$300, 10 hours - $400. Lake Havasu or Kingman area; 6 hour- $250, 8 hour-$320 or 10 hours-$450.   Atlantic Driving School requires that you document the 30 hours of day and 10 hours of night driving BEFORE you schedule your skill evaluation with the 10 hour driving program , no matter how old you are. You need to pass with an 80% skill to waive the road testing with MVD.

These fees can be paid in advance or on a per hour basis of $40.00 per hour in Bullhead City area or $45.00 per hour in Lake Havasu or Kingman area.

 

If you are doing the program to get testing by Atlantic ,MVD requires that you give us a "DOCUMENTTION FOR ADDRESS VERIFICATION"

One of these papers; 1. bank statement, credit card bill, school ID card,W2 form, Utility Bill, pay Stub, Passport or Arizona ID.

There is a 5% possibility that there may be random re-testing at MVD with this new program.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We need a 36 hour notice of cancellation for a full refund. 

There is a $25.00 fee for any appointment of class or driving that is missed, moved to another date or cancelled within a 24 hour notice.
